Together: Sun Earth Self
Sun Earth Self is a self-led daily practice within a community of people dedicated to following the same invitations into reflection, connection, placemaking, and auspicious coincidence. Through this practice and seasonal gatherings we intend to support the creation of belonging and conversation in a time of accelerated change. We’re beginning this experiment on Equinox 2024 and we meet online (via zoom) once per season. Folks are welcome to join in any season. The group follows a set of gentle limitations to support the practice:
Limitations, Invitations & Chance
Repetition and reflection (daily practice, one basic medium, 4x6 postcard size, circle)
Connection, reciprocity and responsibility (monthly mailout)
Placemaking and Recording: annotate weather, date and location daily. Add local knowledge, sensory data, and additional annotations that arise from sun earth self.
Auspicious co-incidence (random selection of image and person for mailout)
